Strevens 52

Tony Roberts - 7 - Could do nothing with either goal.  Made two great stops in second half to keep us in game as Rotherham counter attacked.

Jon Nurse - 6 - Thrown into an unusual position.  Did a decent job considering.  Seems to have lost all confidence when all the ball though, and has stopped taking people on.

Scott Griffiths - 6
- Whether it was a penalty or not, he should have stayed on his feet in that position.  Apart from that, once again our liveliest outfield player.

Ross Smith - 7 - The best of the back line.  Can be caught flat footed, but is prepared to throw his body on the line for the cause.  Nasty facial injury late on.

Mark Arber - 5 - Not sure what has happened to Arbs in last few games.  Looks slow and lethargic and off the pace.  Two big performance needed if we are to get out of this.

Jon Boardman - 6 - Shaky first half, better in second.  Hard to come in when not playing regularly, but looks a shadow of player of last season.

Glen Southam - 5 - His poor form is continuing at just the wrong time.  The energy and sharpness has gone from his game.  Still looks creative in patches, but not showing enough.

Dave Rainford - 6 - A better game from Rains.  Still got caught the wrong side to much, but one his headers, looked dangerous at set plays and kept the ball better.

Peter Gain - 6 - Always prepared to take responsibility on the ball and try and push others on, but not happening for him or those around him at the moment.

Ben Strevens - 6 - Our only real threat yet again.  Got his goal from set play and looked pretty lively at times.  Looks tired towards the end,  from the workload of recent months.

Paul Benson - 5 - Clearly not fully fit, you can't see where his next goal will come from.  You prey in the next two games some chance are created and he takes them.

SUBS:

Solomon Taiwo - 7
- Looked neat and tidy and could be needed in last two games.  Needs to learn to be direct at times.

Sam Saunders - 6 - Gives us some natural width, but delivery was not good enough.

Chris Moore - N/A - Could have been a hero had clueless official not chalked off late goal.
