Tony Roberts - 7 - Nothing he could do with two goals.  Made two good saves to help keep score down.  His kicking still gets in trouble to many times though.

Danny Foster - 6 - Not a bad game from the reliable Foster, although the first goal came from a free kick played into his area of the box.  Not sure if he was supposed to be picking him up, but this is happening to often and needs to be sorted out by the back four.

Scott Griffiths - 5 - Another difficult afternoon for Scott.  Other teams seem to be exploiting this side of the pitch.  His speed and strength get him out of trouble a lot of the time but his positioning seems a little out.

Ross Smith - 6 - Dealt well with the aerial threat but seemed to get caught a little for pace when the ball was played in behind.  Also, all of back 4, and the team as whole, need to sort out the defending of set pieces.

Anwar Uddin - 6 - As with Smith, dealt well with aerial threat but is getting pulled around to much when the ball is played to feet or in behind.  As skipper needs to sort out the defending of set pieces.

Dave Rainford - 5 - Not a great game for Rains, although he had not trained all week because of a knock.  Just does not seem to get to the second ball quick enough, and got caught in possession to often.

Shane Huke - 5 - As with Rains, didn't win enough second balls.  Also seemed to watch the bloke run past him to finish the move for the second goal.   Rotherham dominated the middle of the park despite us having 3 in there.

Glen Southam - 8 - Our best player yet again.  Working his socks off at the moment, retaining the ball better than anyone in side and trying to make things happen going forward.  Scouts will be watching soon I would guess!!

Richard Graham - 6 - Looked lively again, but with little or no end product.  He has the touch and pace and am sure once he settles in, he will be a very important player for us.

Ben Strevens - 5 - Looked a little lost on the right and never got into the game.  Personally feel he is more suited to playing away from home and running the channels rather than playing as a right winger.

Paul Benson - 7 - Difficult to judge his performance as he was so isolated and got so little service.  Kept working hard and forced an error from visiting back four which he should have capitalised on.

Substitutes

Chris Moore - 7 - Looked pretty lively without ever threatening

Dominic Green - 8 - Only a cameo but looked sharp and creative.  Worth another go sooner rather than later.

Solomon Taiwo - 6 - Won a fair amount of headers and tackles but will take time to adapt to pace of League football
