| Dagenham & Redbridge 2
| Football League 2 Victoria Road Saturday 8th March 2008 |
| Tony Roberts – 8 – Couldn’t do anything about the goals and made some great saves to keep us in the game. Kicking is definitely getting better.
Scott Griffiths – 9 – Best player on the pitch all game never looked out of place and looked the part going forward. Dealt well with the pace of Mclean all game
Anwar Uddin – 8 – Dealt well with the pace of CMS all game and made some great last-ditch tackles. Definitely improving with Arber there and outshone the other two centre halves.
Mark Arber – 6 – Not At his best and even though a couple of goals were offside got caught quite static hopefully he can get back to the high standards he set in the previous matches.
Shane Huke - 6 – Not the best performance from Huke but did well considering this is only his second game in a month. Heading was as good as always but struggled a bit with Boyd and Keates.
Jon Boardman – 5 – Thought he would have given a better account of himself but was not really at the races. He let Mclean win too many headers and struggled with the pace of the front men. Definitely need Smithy back in the team. Dave Rainford - 6 – Struggled once again to make an impact and some poor passing but he never lacked effort and scored a great penalty to put us back in the game.
Glen Southam – 5 – Not much to say about Glen easily his worst performance of the year was to slow on the ball and lacked ideas throughout the game. Rightfully subbed in the second half.
Peter Gain - 6 – Another one who struggled in midfield and didn’t get a grip in the game, didn’t pass the ball like usual and didn’t prove himself against his former team.
Jon Nurse - 6 – Played ok and his pace did cause them a problems a few times but didn’t have much created for him and looks like he need’s a rest as he keeps tiring late on in the games.
Ben Strevens - 5 – Well I am not one usually to criticise Strevs but this was a poor game by his standards and needs to get back to his recent form. Wasn’t shown a sniff all game especially in the second half, was very quiet.
SUBS:
Ryan Hall – 7 – Came on for Souths and had a good game. Looks lively off the bench and scored another goal, causing problems for their right back but needs to be sharper in getting rid of the ball.
Chris Moore - N/A - Thrown on after Rains penalty to try and get an equaliser a couple of nice touches and set up Halls goal.
