| Football League 2 Victoria Road Tuesday 4th December 2007 | | Tony Roberts - 7 - Another reliable performance, not at fault for the goal and made a good save from Cameron just before half time.
Scott Griffiths - 6 - Played well and gradually getting more involved in the game. Looking good going forward but needs to work on distribution a bit more .
Anwar Uddin - 5 - Playing out of position and showed. Distribution and control were terrible and struggled all game. Not much seemed to be heard from the skipper. Different from the Anwar of last season.
Jon Boardman - 7 - Had a reasonable game and didn't look in to much trouble all game. Gave away the penalty late on due more to tiredness than anything else.
Magnus Okounghae - 6 - Looked good at the back and seemed very assured. Didn't seem to have been caused many problems. However let his concentration slip for the goal as his man found plenty of room to head home the winner.
Ben Strevens - 6 - Didn't seem very effective but put in a lot of effort yet again, like every week, so this he can not be faulted
Shane Huke - 8 - Won a lot of tackles and headers in midfield and worked very hard all game. Helped to give us that bite in midfield, which was needed.
Glen Southam - 6 - Worked tirelessly yet again but seems to be panicking when on the ball. Not the same assured performance as other games.
Sam Sloma - 5 - Playing out of position but looked very poor. Doesn't seem to be up to this level and looks very slow. Also his corners were awful last night and struggled to beat the first man.
Paul Benson - 7 - Looked his usual sharp self and should have scored early on and probably would have done if it weren't for the post. Unfortunately limped off injured and replaced by Moore. Jon Nurse - 7 - Looked bright and does offer us a bit of pace up front. Missed two great chances from headers including one that hit the bar. SUBS:
Chris Moore - 4 - Not much to say, other than pathetic. Missed a great chance to equalise when it seemed easier to score that put it wide. Dominic Green - 7 - Played very well and definitely worth a start. Looks to beat players and whips in a great cross. One for the future. | |
