Moss Rose Saturday 24th November 2007 | Southam 7 pen | Tony Roberts - 7 - Did not have a great deal to do in all honesty. Handled well when required and looked in control. Looked like he may have been at fault for goal on first look, but replay showed deflection gave him no chance.
Danny Foster - 6 - Solid job, although got caught out of position a couple of times. Could maybe have got closer to Madd midfielder in the build up to the goal.
Scott Griffiths - 7 - A lot better performance, much more like last year. Got forward well, looked dangerous, strong at the back, better positioning. All round a pretty good performance.
Anwar Uddin - 7 - As with Scott, much more like last year. Looked a little shaky early on, but after that was back to his old self. Good in the air tackled well, and had has much more organised at the back.
Jon Boardman - 8 - Another great performance from Stan. Him and Anwar looked like they did in last February and March. Hopefully keep these together and playing well and we could see a rise up table.
Shane Huke - 7 - One of his best games for the Daggers. Won his headers and tackles and drove the team forward. Also very unlucky not to end one second half with run with a goal.
Sam Sloma - 7- Did a sterling job in an unfamiliar role. Looked comfortable in the position, and in the second half especially, passed the ball well and looked creative.
Glen Southam - 6 - Not his best game of the season. Didn't do anything glaringly wrong, but just not as involved as he has been. Kept his cool to put away the eventual penalty though.
Ben Strevens - 7 - One of his best games of the season, he seems to be more effective away from home. One a lot of headers from kicks forward, and linked well with Moore and Benson
Chris Moore - 6 - Played in fits and starts. Although still not as sharp as in his first spell he still looks dangerous at times, but does not seem to stay involved for the whole match.
Paul Benson - 7 - Led the line well yet again. Won the penalty, and unlucky with effort early in second half which came after strong run. Looking very comfortable at this level.
