| Johnstone's Paint Trophy Brisbane Road Turesday 9th October 2007
| Dagenham & Redbrige
1 Strevens 74 | Tony Roberts 7 - Not tested a great deal, with Orient only producing one shot on target. Handling was pretty good, although kicking still not great!!
Shane Huke - 7 Solid again. Considering he was playing in not so familiar role did a good job. Won his tackles and headers and did the simple thing.
Scott Griffiths - 7 - Very solid. Orient tried to play down his flank a lot and he stood up well to the test. Did not get forward as much as he does sometimes.
Ross Smith - 8 - Another great game for the centre halve. New partner at the back but did not let this fluster him. One most of his headers and tackles and did the sensible thing.
John Boardman - 7 - First start since August and a pretty solid game from the Big Man. Will be a great asset to have back fit in the next few weeks.
Glen Southam - 8 - Another good game for Glenda (sponsored by www.upminsterdaggers.co.uk). Worked hard on the right to start with, and then did a good job in the middle after the changes. Starting to keep the ball well and show some real composure
Dave Rainford - 7 - Did a solid job in the middle of the park, especially as he was playing with a new partner. Just needs to read the game a little bit better to get to the second balls first more often.
Solomon Taiwo - 7 - An impressive debut from Solomon. Put his foot in, tried to pass it and looked ok, especially considering what a step up the game was. Was rightfully taken off in second half as was starting to tire.
Sam Sloma - 6 - Came back in the side, and did a good job. Gave us a good balance on the left hand side. Got forward well, although his final ball was sometimes a little poor.
Jamie Taylor - 7 - Did well in his first start of the season. Looked lively and ran the channels well. Held the ball up well at times, just needs to be a little stronger in the opposition box.
Ben Strevens - 7 - Not at his best, but kept plugging away and got his reward with a wonder strike/cross. Unlucky with first half effort against the post. Again, needs to be a little stronger in opposition box.
Subs: Richard Graham - 8 - The ex Barnet man certainly looked the part. Good touch, lots of pace and gave us some width to stretch the home side. Put himself in contention for the weekend.
Chris Moore - 7 - Did what was asked of him. Helped to stretch the home defence in the last 20 minutes and held play up in corners pretty well.
