Tony Roberts - 7 - Beaten four times but only had to make two saves in the entire game, one of which was outstanding from Luke Freeman. Slight question mark over positioning for the first two goals although wasnt helped by those in front of him. Almost saved the penalty.

Scott Griffiths - 6 - Solid in his defensive duties considering that was often left exposed by our attacking system. Although it isnt our preferred way of playing, would like to see Scott command the ball more off of our keeper or centre halves to change the angle of attack.

Jon Boardman - 6 -  Dealt well with the in-form Chris Dickson and only looked troubled as we were stretched when down to ten men. Distribution lacks a little quality at times.

Anwar Uddin - 6 - Good to see the skipper back in there with Stan, a more solid partnership. Looked a little rusty but like Stan, only stretched when we were a man down.

Shane Huke - 7 - We are lucky to have two good right backs in Shane and Fossie. Huke always looks the part full back, distribution is sound and offered a decent aerial threat from set plays. The first two goals originated from his side of the park but that owed plenty to the attacking system and also our inability to tackle!!

Glen Southam - 8 - His work rate is exceptional and tries his best to hold things together week in week out. With only three in the midfield there was always a chance we could get over-run, Gillingham using this to there advantage on the break. Tried to make the extra man up when injured. Took a first half knock but luckily seemed to recover ok.

Dave Rainford - 4 - Where do i start!! Too slow to the break down all night, was probably a relief to be sent off after at least the 8th late foul. When all the ball, to slow to give the ball to a fellow player, ends up trying to hit hopeful balls into areas when the space has long since gone.

Solomon Taiwo - 6 - Warrants a run in the side, and with a suspension coming up for Rains, should get it. Trying to adapt to the pace at this level, seems strong with a decent touch and tries to keep possession. Looks to be positive.

Paul Benson - 7 -Seems to be drifting in and out of games at the moment but you always sense that something is about to happen and he keeps defenders honest. Is our main outlet still, caused the Gills numerous problems early on. Need him to start being more ruthless in front of goal. (subbed J Taylor)

Ben Strevens - 6 - Followed on from Saturdays cameo, asked to play on the right of three up top. Probably didnt get into the goalscoring positions we would hope for, delivery and running forward was intelligent. Switched off defensely though which was crucial. (subbed Jon Nurse)

Chris Moore - 6 - Disappointing after Saturdays encouraging performance. Seemed a little off par but still played his part in taking the game to Gillingham (subbed Sam Sloma)

Substitutes

Jon Nurse:- Just glad to get through unscathed 5
Sam Sloma:- Excellent dead ball delivery almost brought its rewards 6
Jamie Taylor:- no chance to shine 4
