Report Dagenham played hosts to near neighbours Barnet with high expectations after beating League 1 opposition Southend midweek. They started brightly creating some half chances and the goal then came after twenty minutes the ball was pumped long and as Harrison and Devara dithered Strevs nipped in for a deserved goal. This was a disaster though as the daggers began to sit back and Barnet got more into the game, from the half hour mark Barnet began to dominate and in the 45th minute equalised with a free kick by Thomas that from 30 yards out that went into the bottom right hand corner of the net and out the other side (What do the linesman check?) The second half was dominated by Barnet without creating too many clear cut chances, failure to clear our lines properly helped invite pressure though. Barnet could have nicked it at the death had it not been for some excellent work again by Robbo. Upminster Daggers Man of the Match - Tony Roberts
