Pre Match: Arrived in the Yeoman just after 6.  Hoggy and Skippy were already present and we were soon joined by Dogva and Bobby.  After a couple of drinks we managed to persuade Bobby that we should leave the pub at 7.15 rather than trying to "squeeze in another quick one"!!!  Went to get tube and waited on platform 3, and waited, and waited............... Got to 7.30 and we decided to give up and get a cab!!! Unfortunately everyone else using the tube had the same idea so there were no cabs!!! Eventually got a tube and managed to only miss the first 5 minutes of the game.

Attendees: As well as those of us who met in the pub we were joined at the ground by Stew and Dead Bloke, both rather belatedly, Homer (two games in three days), and Browns and a guest appearance from Schoi, both of whom had got a cab to the game as they had waited for 20 minutes at Upminster Bridge for a tube!!!

Crowd: News must be getting round that the boys are playing well as the crowd was over 1,500.  Not massive I guess but a big improvement on those of the last 2 or 3 years.  Just a shame that St Albans only bought about 80 odd.  I would have thought for a local game they would have bought 150 odd.  If they had then we would have had a very good looking crowd of over 1,600.  The away following also made no noise for most of the game.  Atmosphere in the home end was very good again.  Quite a bit of noise and the normal good natured terrace banter.

Game: As with Saturday we flew out of the blocks and blew them away early on.  A cracking goal by CMS doubled the lead Benson had given us and then another from Dave "The Trombone" Rainford made it 3 at the break.  Should have been out of sight after an hour but let them back in it before a great cross from Bruuucccceeeyyyyy for CMS made it safe at 4-2.  Other results went our way as well so a good night.

Post Match: A few of the lightweights shot straight off.  Most of us went back to the Yeoman for a quick one and also to see the table and laugh again at the Grays score!!!!!!  Then me, Stew and Bobby popped in the Alishan for the compulsory midweek ruby.  After an in-depth conversation about religion with Mo and Ali it was back to parents house for bed, although not before laughing once more at the Grays score on the telly!!!!!
