| PRE MATCH
A meet at the Yeoman for the remaining Upminster Daggers (see Attendees). Where one of the funniest FA cup ties took place with Man Yoo pummelling Portsmouth throughout the 90 minutes yet crashing out of the cup, even funnier was listening to Barnet Bens Mrs going on a Fergie style tirade about how referees are out to get Man U and that we should all get a life!
ATTENDEES
Only Dogva from the big four as the other three were out watching Savo make his presentation of his signed Jon Nurse Crayon picture to the Barbadian people. Gobless, Skippy, Mardle, Phil and Winkle were also in attendance whilst Browns bought unfounded rumours that Fiona and Fran would appear after attending a wedding show!?!? Yooth was also rumoured to be in attendance but when I looked up with 10 minutes to go he wasn't there.
CROWD
This was a bit more like it, 3130 with 1132 from Peterborough. West Ham not playing until the Sunday may well have helped. Peterborough fans oddly though made any noise for such a large showing
GAME
Dagenham can feel hard done by not to have got something out of the game, all of the Peterborough goals had some kind of question mark over them and even though the Dagenham penalty was debatable you felt the referee was trying to even his linesman's mistakes up.
POST MATCH
Having waited at Dagenham East station 15 minutes for a train with 100 odd Peterborough fans signing more than they did in the ground it was back to the Yeoman to drown our sorrows and to see the Man U defeat get outdone by a excellent performance by Barnsley, John Terry didn't particularly enjoy being mobbed by the Barnsley fans! It was then we found out that it was Browns birthday so he enjoyed a extra sambuca with each round of drinks which made him popular when Fiona appeared. Winkle who told us he was going to join us at the pub after freshening up finally joined us 3 hours late as everyone else was set to leave.
