| Pre-match:-
The Daggers are at home for the first time on a Saturday since the 2nd day of the month and don't the wallets need it! Trips to Lincoln,Hereford and Grimsby have taken there toll but it doesn't stop the majority being in the pub just in time to not see the horrific injury sustained by Eduardo on the TV. It was definitely a good thing as some of the party had ordered food but joking aside, heres to a speedy recovery for the front man. With the game being delayed by so long, the closet Gooners amongst the UD's were unaware they had thrown away 3 points until just outside the ground!
Attendees:-
The 4 usual suspects plus the regular home crowd. No excuses!!!
Crowd:-
Kids for a quid, you having a laugh. To be fair, plenty of youngsters in the crowd for what, on paper, appeared an unattractive game. 1800 was the official figure, just over 100 making the trip down from the north.
Game:-
Pretty uninspiring but ultimately the right result for the Daggers, nabbing a deserved but hard fought 2-0 win. Scrappy goals, crap refereeing but still 3 points. Thanks Shawan Jalal.
Post Match:-
For most of the crew, it was onto the 103 and a trip to the delights of Romford to catch a train to Brentwood. Lager and Guiness dispatched watching the egg chasing before decamping back to base.
