| Pre-Match:-
It was a chance to save some pennies this week with a much anticipated home game with the Spirites. It was the usual 12 ish meet in the pub with the prospect of the old firm derby to warm the cockles. Several pints and a humourous win for the crown before heading off to freeze at the ground
Attendees:-
Usual selection of wronguns supplemented by Wayne Mardle. Only excuse for non attendance was Bobby's game for the vets.
Crowd:-
Just over 2000 of which 400 made the trip down south. For the most part fairly quiet with just the antics of Fletcher and Ward for the oppo raising the decibel level. Excellent banter in particular from "Desperate Dan" Fletcher. Ward was a little clown yet he mugged us off all afternoon so good luck to him. The officials provided there usual selection of comedy decisions.
Game:-
Poor. We never coped with a sharper side and bar a 10 minute spell in the 2nd period when we should have scored, we were barely in the contest. We must improve.
Post Match:-
Fairly low key although the was the promise of a pint in the Yeoman from Winks so it was back there for lager and Karaoke!!
The only highlight of another grim day!!Roll on Friday!
