PRE MATCH

People were heading in from all different directions so some met in the upstairs bar at the ground, while others headed straight in for a cup of bovril!!  Ironically those who met in the bar missed the first 5 minutes of the game (Mr Mack was just squeezing another one in!!), while the Sponge Bob and the youngsters managed to miss the first ten minutes!!!

ATTENDEES
A good effort for the oldest cup competition in the World!! The Big Four were all present and correct, as were the other regulars of Cabbo and Gobless.  Occasionals Bobby, Browns and Festa were also in attendance as were the new youngsters of Sponge Bob, Crouchy and Jabba.  Oh, and Winkle was down the front somewhere as well!!  Only absentee of note was Skippy, at some dull concert.  Good attendance as well from the HLP whose numbers have been down of late!!!

CROWD
Just over 1,400, with 140 from Hereford (or probably from London with a few from Hereford!!).  Probably about what was expected.  With money tight people who have season tickets are not going to be able to find £16 for every cup game as well.  Seats, and particularly the family area, were very poorly populated.  Atmosphere was a little subdued for much of the game, although did pick up towards the end of the 90 minutes.

GAME
Reading the forum this morning many were having their normal moan, but wasn't a bad game from our point of view.  Hereford started well, but after that the Daggers were in full control, and probably could have won by more.  Only one moment of worry in the second half, but the injured Robbo kept the Bulls at bay to send us to Leicester.

POST MATCH
Most were in a buoyant mood, although some had to head straight off.  The rest headed for the Alishan where plans were being made for the UDs to be transported to the Walkers Stadium on credit crunch beating budget!!  A pretty good evening all round!!
