PRE MATCH
After the Weekend's excursions in the North East, it was a low key Tuesday evening for this home contest!! Bobby didn't want to miss the chance for a few pints and was joined pre match in the Daggers Bar by Cabbo, Dogva and Skippy.  Most others met in the ground, and were so early that the warm up was still taking place!! Several also took the chance to keep the hands warm on a cold evening by getting stuck into the Bovril!!

ATTENDEES
A good turnout from the UDs on a cold, miserable evening.  All the Big Four were present, as were other regulars Browns, Cabbo, Gobless and Skippy.  Bobby made it two games in 4 days as well.  And also present were the now regular youngsters, Crouchy, JAB and Sponge Bob.  Only absentee of note was Winkle, thought to be eating somewhere.  Poor showing from the pretty boys who attended the Darlo game with none of those extras present.

CROWD
Just over 1,600 which was about what we expected.  After some bigger crowds against Barnet and Bury it was back to the 1,400 hardcore home fans, plus the away support.  Credit to Grimsby for bringing down 232.  Although many were exiles based in London, when you haven't won for 21 games, standing watching your side in that weather is a fair effort.  They didn't make much noise mind, although they were probably frozen!! Home support didn't seem to excited either, although there was some more life after the break.

GAME
Grimsby were probably the worst side we have played since coming into the League!!  They were probably marginally worse than the two appalling Chester City sides we have thumped at home twice.  Dagenham did not play brilliantly, but had far to much for the visitors, and they took the chance to regain some confidence and increase their goal scoring tally.  Could have been 10, but they settled for 4, and most of the crowd went home happy.

POST MATCH
With the rain still falling, most went off in different directions to get home ASAP and warm up.  Doggy continued his excellent recent behaviour towards his mates by failing to hold the tube doors open for them, meaning they had to wait another 5 minutes in the freezing cold for the next tube!!  Middle, Cabbo and Bobby made it to the Alishan where they were joined by Sponge Bob, Crouchy and JAB.  Sponge Bob took on the challenge of tasting the Chicken Phal and required a pint glass of ice to ensure the evening didn't finish with his head exploding!!
