After an excellent start to the season, October is a busy month for the Daggers. Here we look at the games coming up, and give our predictions for the matches coming up in the next month:
ROCHDALE (A) - 04/10 Dale just missed out on promotion last season, and have made a mixed start this term, although they recorded an excellent 3-1 win at Accrington on Sunday. The Daggers have lost their last two away games and will be looking to get back on track on the road. UD Prediction: 1-1
PETERBOROUGH UNITED (A) - 07/10 A number of familiar faces could be on show for the Posh, although some may be rested as they have bigger plans than winning the JPT. The Daggers have a decent record in this competition over the years, and an upset could be on the cards. UD Prediction: 2-2 (Daggers to progress on penalties)
BARNET (H) - 10/10 Old friends and rivals Barnet finally picked up their first win of the season at Grimsby on Saturday, but they are still struggling in the wrong half of the table. This though is a notoriously hard fixture to predict so the Daggers can take nothing for granted. UD Prediction: 2-1
BURY (H) - 18/10 Bury struggled last term but have made an excellent start this season and head the table. They are proving difficult to breakdown and difficult to beat, and will provide our hardest test at home so far this season. UD Prediction: 1-1
BOURNEMOUTH (A) - 21/10 The Cherries are in for a long season following their 17 point deduction before the football even started. Jimmy Quinn has taken charge in recent weeks, and this has seen a slight upturn in results. However, the Daggers will fancy winning this one if they are still playing as they have been in September. UD Prediction: 2-1
DARLINGTON (A) - 25/10 Unlikely that this game can provide the same sort of entertainment as the fixture did last season!! Darlo are one of the favourites for promotion, and despite having a mixed season so far, this will probably prove one game to many in the month for the Daggers. UD Prediction: 1-2 |
