In this report we look at our favourite games from the season, and also, just as importantly, our favourite days out. It's that time of the year again, when the Upminster Daggers announce the result of the most prestigious award of the season, the UDs Player of the Season. All players will be hoping to secure the award, and follow in the footsteps of Paul Benson and Ben Strevens, the two previous winners. Of course, there is no actual trophy for this award. We were thinking of buying one, but the credit crunch has taken hold, and with potential play off games to fork out for, the economics did not stack up. So once again it is purely for pride. |
